The art of dusting
Language is a mental construction that modulates thought, and thought is the architect of our reality. We are what we think, but just how free is our thought process? Many words and concepts give the impression of being parasites, they appear to play with us, as if somehow they had a parallel life of their own. Many of those mental representations seem to model or manipulate the way we conceive reality, the way we act and even the emotional load on our shoulders.
Our mind threads words into concepts, which later we project without filtering, without making distinctions or even being aware of them. Being inherited, we have never questioned them and they remain anchored in our subconscious, loaded with meanings and adhered like crustaceans.
Those concepts are frequently archetypes that obnibulate us: they confuse reasoning, dim thinking, cloud ideas, control attitudes and dilute sensations, and thus, they reduce our freedom to shape our reality and reclaim our creative power. If we loosen those knots and play non-judgmentally with those concepts, if we re-evaluate, discard or replace them, a welcome release takes place: we make room for ideas more compatible and better reconciled with our up-to-date dreams and expectations, with our current needs and wants.
Is the way we think stealing our freedom and creative power?
To let go obsolete preconceptions can be a liberating and empowering experience, it can awaken latent abilities and open the doors to the process of truly Being. Not pretending to have answers, to qualify nor to censure in any way, the series 'The New Archetypes' is an invitation to impartial self exploration, to releasing knots and exploring mental images, conceptions and expressions.
